Ahadith Qudsi2

assalamu alaikum,

This is a continuation from the AHADITH QUDSI1 post:

Hadith 4:

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (salaAllahu alayhi wassalam) said: Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection:
Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.(Sahih Muslim)

Hadith 5:

narrated Abu Hurayra-radiaAllahu anhu-that the Messenger of Allah(salaAllahu alayhi wassalam) said:

Allah says:

When my servant intends to do a bad deed, Do not write it(as a sin) until he does it, if he does it then write it as like it(one bad deed), and if he leaves it for my sake, then write it as one good deed. And if he intends to do a good deed but does not do it, write it down as one good deed, and if he does it, then write it as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times.(Sahih Bukhari)

Hadith 6:

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (salaAllahu alayhi wassalam) said: Allah the Almighty said:

I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed. (Sahiihs Bukhari and Muslim)

The Virtues of the 10 Days of Thul-Hijjah

السلام عليكــم ورحمـة الله وبركاتــة ،،

عشره ذي الحجة - فضائلها

الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده،،، وبعد:

The Virtues of the Ten of Thul- Hijjah

1.Allah has sworn by them:

When Allah swears on something this shows the high status of that thing and its virtues, since the Mighty swears not except on something that is also mighty. Allah(ta'alla) says:

(2)وَالْفَجْرِ (1) وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
"By the dawn;By the ten nights "[surah al fajr 1-2]

And the ten nights refer to the ten of Thul Hijjah, and this is the view of the majority of the Mufasirren from the Salaf and Khalaf, and Ibn Katheer says in His tafseer: it is saheeh.

2. They are appointed days that Allah has legislated remebrance(thikr) within them:

Allah(ta'alla) said:

وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ

"..and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days, over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them.."[surah al Hajj 28]. The majority of the scholars viewed that the fixed days refer to the Ten of Thul Hijjah, among them Ibn Umar and Ibn Abbas.

3. The Messenger bore witness that these days are the most virtuous(best) of the days of Dunyaa:

bn 'Abbas reports that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these days [meaning the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah]." The companions asked, "O Messenger of Allaah, not even jihad in the way of Allaah?" He said, "Not even jihad, except for the man who puts his life and wealth in danger [for Allaah's sake] and returns with neither of them." [This is related by the group except Muslim and an-Nasa'i]

4. To realize and know that the Day of 'Arafah is among these days:

It is the best of days of as-Sunnah(Islaam) according to some of the scholars due to the hadeeth, "The best of days near Allah is the Day of an-Nahr and the Day of al Qarr."[ recorded by Abu Dawud and an-Nasai verified to be Saheeh by al-Albaani]

5. The main acts of worship are unified in this day.

Al-Haafidh ibn Hajar says in al-Fath:

(And the reason for the excellence of the Ten of Thul-Hijjah is(also) due to the state of bringing together the main acts of worship in these days like the Salah, fasting, charity and the hajj, and such a thing doesnt happen except in these days.)

Ramadhan Kareem!!!

assalamu alaikum!!!

Allahu Akbar!! The blessed month of Ramadhan has come upon us!! May Allah allow us to live through it and live with it once more! ameen! Dont forget to increase in duaa especially for the suffering Muslims and the believers in general, lets make sure we dont miss the blessings of suhoor which it is preferable and best to eat with dates and water!! Also, lets not forget hastening the iftaar which is sunnah and the most blessed time is right before fajr salah.

We should read as much quran as we can, Ramadhan is the month of the Quran, as Allah says and try to at least finish it once. Be more generous and kind and increase in your good deeds, after all the acts of worship done in Ramadhan are doubled, Allah has also promised a special reward for those who fast. Lets not forget the duaa for breaking the fast which is a sunnah as well:

Allahuma laka sumtu wa 'ala rizquka aftartu

meaning:

O Allah, it is for you that I have offered my fasting and it is with provision from you that I am breaking the fast.

Also the duaa for the one who provides you with Iftaar(host):

Allahuma ad'im man ad'amni wasqee man saqaanee

meaning:

O Allah feed the one who fed me and quench the thirst of the one who quenched my thirst

Hadeeth 36 : The Virtue of Gathering for the Recitation of The Qur'aan, and for the Remembrance of Allaah

by Imâm an-Nawawî
(d. 676 AH / 1299 CE)

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (radiAllaahu anhu) that the Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said :

Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allaah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allaah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allaah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allaah will aid His Slave so long as he aids his brother. And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allaah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allaah, reciting the Book of Allaah and studying it among themselves, except that Sakeenah (Tranquility) descends upon them, and Mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allaah mentions them amongst those who are with Him. And whoever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage.

It was related by Muslim in these words.

Summary :

• That this hadeeth contains encouragement to help each other for our own benefit

• That any Muslim who makes a Muslim happy will receive the Mercy of Allaah on the Day of Resurrection, and He will remove one of his griefs that Day

• That any Muslim who sees to the need of another Muslim, will have his own needs seen to by Allaah

• That any Muslim who protects another Muslim will be protected by Allaah

• That Allaah will help us as long as we help each other

• That one who strives to gain Knowledge of the Deen will be helped by Allaah in acting upon it

• That the mosques should be used to gather in to study the Deen and to recite the Qur'aan collectively

• That such groups of people receive the Peace and Mercy of Allaah, and are surrounded by the Angels, and are mentioned by Allaah to those near Him

• That this is true for any group of Muslims, whether or not they are scholars or very pious individuals

• That when we remember Allaah, He remembers us and makes mention of us

• That if one becomes lax in his religious duties, his lineage or ancestry will not avail him anything before Allaah

• Seeking knowledge of the Deen entails acting upon it and propagating it
